Waitlist privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026. This notice covers the iamboris.app waitlist only. The Boris app will have its own, fuller privacy policy before launch.
Who we are
The waitlist is run by Clint Camilleri, the developer of Boris, based in Malta. Contact: hello@iamboris.app.
What we collect
- Your email address
- Whether you use Android or iPhone
- Your country (as you choose it from the list)
- Whether you ticked the box for Boris news
- The date you signed up
Nothing else: no tracking cookies, no ad pixels, and we don't store your IP address with your signup.
Why
- To email you when Boris launches on your phone. You asked for this by signing up (legal basis: your request / consent).
- To decide where to launch next (e.g. whether to build an iPhone version), using only totals, not individuals.
- To send occasional Boris news, only if you ticked that box (legal basis: consent). Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Where it's stored and who sees it
Signups are stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Launch emails are sent through Resend, our email provider. Both may process data outside the EU under standard contractual safeguards. We never sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than 12 months after Boris launches in your region.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time by emailing hello@iamboris.app. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to Malta's data protection authority, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC).

Boris is for adults. Please don't sign up if you're under 18.
